Learn To Play Your Favorite Songs The Right Way With iVideoSongs.Com
September 24, 2008 by Scott
Have you ever tried to learn a song by ear? Have you downloaded the tablature just to find out later that what you learned to play was actually wrong? It’s happened to me a bunch of times. It’s tough to find good instructional videos that actually show you step by step how to play the songs as opposed to some dude just jamming out the song while you look on confused.
What if the person showing you how to play the song was the person that actually composed the riffs? That’s where ivideosongs.com comes in. Ivideosongs shows you how to play the song piece-by-piece and in some cases by the actual person that wrote the song in the first place. Imagine Alex Lifeson teaching you how to play Rush’s The Spirit Of Radio or Tom Sawyer! Graham Nash can show you how to play the acoustic run of Teach Your Children Well or Switchfoot’s Jon Formeman teaching you how to play Meant To Live. Though a lot of the songs are taught by iVideosongs instructors, there are a lot of songs instructed by the artists that wrote them. You can’t as for better instruction than that!
Guitarticles | Not Just Another Guitar Site
August 9, 2008 by Scott
There are thousands of guitar learning sites out there that explain how to do this and that but don’t make it really all that easy to follow along. Guitarticles, a guitar blog rather than a site is a great place to learn all sorts of new things for the axe handler in you.
How many guitar sites can you ask about a lesson right there at the lesson without having to go to some forum and wait for the fastest smart-ass know all to give you a sarcastic answer like an AOL tech.
It doesn’t matter what level you are at on the six string, you just might learn something at Guitarticles. Here are a few links I found very helpful.
