In the past few years there have been several bands popping up that have members who are actors. There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with it but sometimes having an actor (who is more famous then the band itself) can greatly effect that band’s street cred. The Vans Warped Tour is still going strong after well over a decade of rocking bands, dirty mosh pits, and killer memories. The 2010 tour is well under way in the planning stages and bands are being added all the time. Victory Records just announced that New York band EMMURE and Californian ska rockers Chase Long Beach have been added to the bill!

The American death-metal group CARNIFEX just released their new album art for ‘Hell Chose Me’ and it’s mind blowing.  Victory Records explains that this album is taking a much darker approach then the band as traditionally taken. They go as far as to say that it is going to be even more blasphemous. With that said the album art was designed to depict this and they were definitely successful.
