The Hope For Haiti Now telethon netted over $57 million for Haiti and the efforts to help the earthquake hit country.
On Friday night artists including Coldplay, U2, Madonna, Shakira and Justin Timberlake performed at the event that was televised life across all major networks.
A list celebs including Leonardo DiCaprio, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt also appeared.
Bono performed with Jay-Z and The Edge (featuring Rihanna). Their song, “Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)” was produced by Swizz Beatz and the collaboration was created over the phone when The Edge and Bono came up with the chorus together. …read more

The 90’s was definitely a great time for rock and Pearl Jam definitely sealed the deal. They kick started a style of rock that would be emulated over the next 20 years. In the past few years there have been several bands popping up that have members who are actors. There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with it but sometimes having an actor (who is more famous then the band itself) can greatly effect that band’s street cred. Victory Record’s Driver Side Impact has recorded four new killer melodic tracks for their new EP Double Vision. The cover art is unbelievable and easily could be framed and hung on your wall to trip out all of your friends. Don’t look at it for too long though.
