Candlebox broke onto the rock scene in the early 90’s in a time when most modern rock bands trying to get on to the scene had short lived careers because grunge/alternative rock were dominating the scene. If you were not an already established band you practically had no chance. Candlebox’s self titled debut was a hit and the band drew a following with the rock scene with songs like “You” and “Far behind“. Although these were the two main radio played song, this album had a lot of great songs on it. Candlebox has recently reunited and will be touring and releasing a new album in July.

The single, Surrendering, from their new album was released May 27th. It’s a great song, available on iTunes.
