This is one of my favorite Sublimesongs. Sublime were a great band that sampled many other classic rock and reggae bands and put their own mix of punk rock and ska into the songs. This song is pretty obvious what it’s all about. In case you’re not fluent in Spanish as I am not either, a “Sanchito” or “Sancho” is “The other guy”. When the video was shot it was after Bradley Nowell had passed away from a heroin overdose, an addiction he struggled with for a long time and was often a part of his lyrical content. Sublime’s last release was their self titled album but there were a few great ones before that and they are all classic Sublimealbums in my opinion.
