In Review: Royal Bliss, Dirt Mall, Sound and fury, and Taproot
I’ve got a busy weekend ahead of me. I’ve got four CD’s in the past week or so that I’ve been meaning to get to, to review.
First Up Is Royal Bliss: Life In-Between on Caroline Records. So far I am really diggin this. It’s got a kind of Candlebox feel to it, but original enough to hold it’s own.
Next Up Is Dirt Mall: Got The Goat By The Horns. I’m not all that fond if this right now. I still have to give it a full to grasp the full concept of it.
Sound And Fury was sent to me for review at MetalMartyr.com, my metal blog, as was Dirt Mall. I feel they both fit the rock genre more than metal, so I will review them both here. As far as Sound And Fury Goes. Not fond, need more time to fully listen all the way through, maybe twice.
Lastly, I just got an advance copy of Taproot’s Our Long Road Home. I’m listening to track 2 “Wherever I Stand” and I can’t stop listening.
I’ve yet to get a chance to hear the new Staind cd, The Illusion Of Progress, but I plan on a doing a review of that soon or at least posting links to other reviews. So far it’s looking pretty well for Staind.
