Livenation.com A Royal Pain In The A$$

by User ImageScott on June 21st, 2008

Have you ever tried finding tickets on Livenation.com? Have you ever tried redeeming a code for tickets you got from a cd purchase like perhaps the ticket code from the new Judas Priest Album? I tried for over an hour last night to find where I can try to enter the code to get my “Free General Admission Ticket” while supplies last of course. I know it’s 3 days after the cd was released and a crapload of people have probably tried. Perhaps if the tickets are gone you would think they would post something on the page about it being over and tickets being gone…there isn’t. Instead I registered for about three things and still couldn’t find where I was supposed to redeem my code. I followed the instructions on the redemption code ticket, but it is very vague.

Idolator.com also ran a story about the BS that Livenation.com puts their loyal subjects to when they buy tickets. More on this story here.

Hey man, i was in the same situation as you but I went to livenation.com help page and found this:

To redeem your Judas Priest - Metal Masters lawn ticket promo code, please go to http://www.livenation.com/judaspriest; select the venue you to attend and click the “Buy Tickets” link. When you get to event page to select tickets you will find these instructions:

“To redeem your one (1) complimentary lawn ticket now, enter the number 1 in box below labeled METAL MASTERS. Tickets based on availability. Offer valid beginning June 17, 2008 at 10am and while supplies last. Limit of one per customer. When prompted to enter your Passcode or Member Code on the billing information page; enter passcode found in your Judas Priest Nostradamus CD. Enjoy the show!”

You will be asked to enter your promo code on the billing information page, after you have reserved your ticket selection.

If you need any further support please call us at 1-800-431-3462, Monday through Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm EST

    Hope this helps.

lol…Thanks, Josh. I really appreciate it but about two weeks ago I was cleaning my desk and came across the redemption code and threw it away. The closest place to see them is about 5 hours away anyway. That’s some great information to put out though and hopefully others can use it!

I purchesed 4 tickets for Avril Lavign and never received them, I lost my reciept, so I couldnt find out where I even bought them, partly my fault, but this week I finally found my receipt and called them. They told me there was nothing they could do and that it was too late to get a refund. My question is, where are my tickets and why didnt I get them? Never ever use them to buy tickets!
