Moon The Loon…Blew It Up Like A Typhoon

Keith Moon, being one the greatest rock drummers ever, was known for his eccentric behavior and destructive lifestyle. Pete Townshend, the band’s lead guitarist, says Moon’s reputation for erratic behavior was something he cultivated. According to him, once they were on the way to the airport and Moon told the driver to return to the hotel asserting, “I forgot something. We’ve got to go back!” When the limo was brought back, Moon broke into the room, grabbed the Television set while it was still connected and tossed it out the window into the swimming pool. When he was done with his service, he then jumped back into the limo, sighing “I nearly forgot.”

In this “smashing” video, the infamous incident is shown where Moon added three times the amount of explosives without letting the other Whos know. It has been rumored that Pete even lost 90 percent of his hearing in his right ear. In addition, the force of the explosion blew Pete’s hair to one side.

R.I.P. Keith Moon! I hope you aren’t doing this in heaven
