Peter Chris: You can take the mask off the Lone Ranger and put it on someone else, but it ain’t the Lone Ranger.
A Magazine I have never heard of interviewed Peter Chris. At least ole’ Pete keeps it real. A lot of people say everything changed after Peter and Ace were gone, everything went to shit. I agree. Check out what Peter Chris tells 40° 74° Magazine in a recent interview.
“That was it for me,” Criss said of his decision to leave KISS for the last time in 2003. “That was like: Ace [Frehley, guitar] ain’t here. This ain’t the original band. I said to Gigi, ‘I can’t do this with these guys. I made this band what it is. I’m one of the founding fathers. No matter who they get to put stuff on their face, it ain’t us. You can take the mask off the Lone Ranger and put it on someone else, but it ain’t the Lone Ranger.’ We ended it on my 58th birthday, which couldn’t have been more apropos.”
And they will keep on painting faces and selling merchandise with YOUR face on it, Peter. I hope your getting royalties.

I don’t think Peter Chris should quit! When i first heard the song God Of Thunder and heard his drum solo i actually wished i could be that good! He is the best drummer i have actually heard in my whole life!
