Even seasoned acts like Foo Fighters are starting to get repetitive. And Nickelback. Don't even get me started. The genre as a whole just isn't as innovative as other areas of the music world. That said, I totally agree with you about Seether and this album. It is one of the best modern rock albums out. Shaun Morgan does sound Cobain-ish but that's a good thing in my book.
