I may be a little biased because I'm a huge fan of motley crue, but I really loved the Heroin Diaries. In my opinon, it was one of the best CDs of the year. In fact, Life Is Beautiful is the #1 rock song for 2008. great stuff. Glad you were able to enjoy it after all! I read the book and got the CD. What I should have done the first time instead of bashing it before really understanding it. I do that quite a bit at times and more often than not I end up putting my foot in my mouth and looking stupid...but at least I admit when I'm wrong. I can say with all honesty that the book is one million times better. I have had the book for less than a year now, and I've read it three times. It's so much more powerful because not only are you seeing him waste away, but you get his commentary from almost 20 years later, along with hearing from Tommy, Vince, Mick, and other people associated with the band. It's a surprisingly quick read, and it's so tough to put down. If you get around to reading it, let me know how you liked it man! - Dan I’m glad that you changed your mind about this album.
