Slash Guitar Hero Three Action Figure

McFarlane Toys announces plans to produce a “SLASH” action figure based on his in-game character from Activision’s hit videogame, Guitar Hero(R) III: Legends of Rock. The action figure is expected to hit mass retailers in February 2009.

Slash, one of the most iconic guitarists of all time, lead guitarist for the acclaimed hard rock act Velvet Revolver and a former member of Guns ‘N’ Roses, will be the newest Guitar Hero action figure.

I don’t know why they are calling it an action figure as opposed to a “Figurine” or maybe a “statuette”. Seriously, it’s not the people that are going to buy it are going to be playing with it like a G.I. Joe action figure. Looks pretty cool, though I have lost all respect for Slash. Other Guitar Hero III figures set for the release are Johnny Napalm, Lars Umlaut, Axel Steel and God Of Rock. You’ll be able to find these 6″ action figures at Toys ‘R’ Us for about $10-$15 dollars.
