Staind’s ‘The Illusion Of Progress’ Debuts At No.3 In The U.S.

August 23, 2008 by Scott

Staind The illusion Of Progress Staind’s The Illusion Of Progress came out last Tuesday, August 19th and has sold over 95,000 copies in it’s first week placing them at number 3 on the Billboard 200. This is a great start for sales for the band in it’s first week, while Disney’s Jonas Brothers sold over 520,000 copies in it’s first week. While two different sides of the spectrum, I still think Staind did pretty well in this age of modern rock. What did Staind front-man. Aaron Lewis have to say about that?

“It’s just a different version of the boy-band thing all over again…It’s HANSON 2008, with Disney behind them…How do you compete with that?”
