Gibson.com had a great article on bands that have reinvented themselves in an attempt to bring them up to date and become a hit again. Some have been successful in the past and some….well, not so good. Then there are some such as Pink Floyd, who had no choice but to reinvent themselves and carry on when Syd Barrett departed because of mental illness.
