Them Crooked Vultures Announce Album, Release Single

Dave Grohl, Joshua Homme and John Paul Jones – aka Them Crooked Vultures – have confirmed November 17 as the release date of their eponymous debut album in the United States and Canada on DGC/Interscope Records. The self-produced 13-song record will feature first single “New Fang” as well as the debut of the studio versions of the material Them Crooked Vultures unveiled at their August 9 debut at Chicago’s Cabaret Metro and played on a first series of shows throughout a handful of UK and European cities and portions of the eastern U.S. Check out “New Fang” below!

Unledded Zeppelin

It looks as if Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham are going to tour totally Led free. That is they will not be touring as “Led Zeppelin“. I think that’s a good thing. A few rumored singers to be filling the void will be Steven Tyler of Aerosmith or maybe Myles Kennedy of Alterbridge, who have rehearsed with the former three Zeppelin musicians.
But Page wants to make one thing clear about the new project. “Whatever this is, it is not Led Zeppelin,” says a rep for Page’s management company, QPrime.

Robert Plant Shoots Down Led Zeppelin Tour Rumors

Rumors were flying all over the place last week that British rock legends, Led Zeppelin were back with front-man Robert Plant and planning a world tour. I was skeptical from the get-go. Seriously, how many times in the past year have we heard this and how many times has Robert Plant set the record straight. Well let’s just add one more time to that list. Plant will be finishing up his tour with Alison Krauss on October 5th and an official statement left at Robertplant.com reads as follows:

Foo Fighters Perform With Zeppelin Members (Video)

Ramble On, a Led Zeppelin blog, reported that Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones performed with The Foo Fighters last night at Wembley Stadium as part of their final encore set. Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins, sang “Rock N Roll” with the Zeppelin duo while David Grohl played drums and then switched places for Ramble on.
