Dead Zeppelin: No Singer, No Tour
January 9, 2009 by Scott
Well it looks as if even a tour with half of the original Led Zeppelin Members will no longer happen. Yesterday Britmusicscene.com reported that Jimmy Page’s manager, Peter Mensch said that all hope has been scrapped for any kind of Zeppelin based tour, with or without Robert Plant.
Plant Weighs In On Weeded Zeppelin Tour
November 26, 2008 by Scott
Robert Plant has made a statement concerning his non participation in the possible upcoming tour that his former Led Zeppelin band mates may be embarking on. Plant has stressed that he doesn’t want to do a full scale tour and it just seems that some people can’t stop beating a dead horse. Here is what Plant had to say from Manicnirvana.com:
“In January, I’m starting to record a new album with Alison Krauss and T Bone Burnett,” he revealed, before adding “but I understand that everyone’s got to eat,” implying that the Plant-less Led Zep has his blessing.
But before he …read more
Unledded Zeppelin
November 13, 2008 by Scott
It looks as if Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham are going to tour totally Led free. That is they will not be touring as “Led Zeppelin“. I think that’s a good thing. A few rumored singers to be filling the void will be Steven Tyler of Aerosmith or maybe Myles Kennedy of Alterbridge, who have rehearsed with the former three Zeppelin musicians.
But Page wants to make one thing clear about the new project. “Whatever this is, it is not Led Zeppelin,” says a rep for Page’s management company, QPrime.
I kind of thought the idea of them touring …read more
Jack Bruce Of Cream: "F*ck Off, Zeppelin. You’re Crap."
November 5, 2008 by Scott
Did I miss someone from Led Zeppelin talking trash about Cream somewhere along the line? The Classic Rock Awards were held last night and Cream won the gong for “Classic Album” with their 41 year old release of “Disraeli Gears“. Accepting the award was Jack Bruce who was also pulled in for a post-award interview with Classic Rock Magazine’s Dave Ling. Here is just a little bit of Jack Bruce’s anti-Zeppelin rant:
Everybody talks about Led Zeppelin, and they played one fucking gig – one fucking lame gig – while Cream did weeks of gigs; proper gigs, not just a lame …read more
Led Zeppelin Radio On Sirius Satellite Radio
October 30, 2008 by Scott
Led Zeppelin. What can you really say about them that hasn’t already been said a million times. Their history is self explanatory and their legend will live on forever with or without a reunion tour. Without Robert Plant it wouldn’t really be reunion tour, or much of a Led Zeppelin tour at all for that matter.
Jimmy Page Doesn’t Want To Be A Star
…On the Hollywood walk of fame, that is. Rocky Dickerson started a campaign to nominate Led Zeppelin for a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. While a lot of people would like to see this, Jimmy Page doesn’t feel that he should endorse it. Can’t blame the man for being humble.
Dickerson stated that he wants to make it fan driven.
“I’m trying to make this a totally fan-driven thing,” he said. “I don’t want anything from any corporate entity, or anything from LED ZEPPELIN. I want this to be a small thing that we, the fans, can give back …read more

Robert Plant Shoots Down Led Zeppelin Tour Rumors
September 29, 2008 by Scott
Rumors were flying all over the place last week that British rock legends, Led Zeppelin were back with front-man Robert Plant and planning a world tour. I was skeptical from the get-go. Seriously, how many times in the past year have we heard this and how many times has Robert Plant set the record straight. Well let’s just add one more time to that list. Plant will be finishing up his tour with Alison Krauss on October 5th and an official statement left at Robertplant.com reads as follows:
After those dates, Robert has no intention whatsoever of touring with anyone …read more
