EMI and Virgin records have collaborated to release a 20th anniversary special expanded version of Lenny Kravitz debut album Let Love Rule to be released on April 21st. The 20th anniversary edition will include 18 bonus track with 13 of them being previously unreleased demos, live recordings and some rare b-sides. Let Love Rule was originally released in 1989. Lenny Kravitz is rehearsing with Velvet Revolver? That’s the rumor according to The Sun magazine out of the UK.
The rocker, who is playing at the V Festival in Staffordshire and Chelmsford this weekend, has been spotted in the studio with the band.
A source said: “Velvet Revolver’s new album will draw heavily on their messy split with Scott. “The band wanted a big name who could easily hold his own and reckon Lenny is just the man for the job.”
