Ozzy Wins Living Legends Award…And Then Drops It.

Rock and Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne was honored with Living Legend award at this years Marshall Classic Rock Roll Of Honour Awards on November third from Park Lane Hotel in London. After accepting the award, Ozzy nearly dropped it on his foot (See that video here), which with Ozzy’s current physical condition, could have proved fatal. Personally if I was married to Sharon I would have done myself in a long time ago.
Winner’s of the other awards were Whitesnake for Album Of The Year for “Good To Be Bad” and AC/DC for DVD Of The Year with “Plug Me In“.

Converse Celebrates 100 Years Combining Classic Bands With Classic Shoes

Converse is celebrating 100 years of converse with a new line of the Classic “Chuck Taylor” All Stars. 100 years, really? That’s right. Converse started up 100 years ago in 1908 as Converse Rubber Corporation. Nine years later the Converse All Star basketball shoe was born. Still a timeless classic that has survived through almost a century of changes in footwear fashion and design. Very few things have lasted so long without deviating too far from the original design.

Just like that. Sounds just like Randy Rhoads. Well it’s not that simple. Remember last week when I talked about Gibson.com teaching you how to capture Joe Perry’s tone? Well this weeks it’s good old (R.I.P.) Randy Rhoads. I can play the beginning of Crazy Train, but I don’t quite have that tone down.
