Top 10 Rock Albums Of 2008

My Rock Dose Top 10 Rock Albums Of 2008 covers mainly established rock acts and not this new wave of modern rock as we know it. I’ll go through each none and tell you why I chose it. Take in to consideration that I only went through bands that I’ve heard this year and not every rock album that has come out. If you expect Nickelback or Hinder to be on this list then you came to the wrong place. So what does this list mean? Nothing really, it’s just MY favorite picks of 2008, so don’t cry if …read more

Sixx: A.M. The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack Review

Forget everything I have ever said about Sixx A.M. and The Heroin Diaries. Forgot all the trash I talked in the past about how this is a shitty album and how I looked at this book in a negative way. I can be a cynical douche at times. I still don’t care for a lot of things Nikki Sixx says but I’ve started looking at both of these things in a different way as of late.
Upon listening and reading through the lyrics of Sixx: A.M. I actually see this for what it is. It’s therapy for Nikki Sixx. An …read more

SIXX A.M. Preparing New Album

After great review and popularity Nikki Sixx’s project SIXX A.M. is preparing to make a new album. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m still not feeling the first album, but obviously many people are and as much as I don’t like Nikki Sixx, perhaps he’s spreading a great message in sobriety through his book and band. Maybe, just maybe I need to give this album a good listen and maybe even read The Heroin Diaries.
Speaking of The Heroin Diaries, it is set for a paperback release on October 28th. You can pre-order the book at SwagRox.com.

Curious How Crue Fest Is Going?

Curious How Crue Fest Is Going?

Here are the attendance numbers for some of the  Crue Fest Dates past wit headliners Motley Crue, with BuckCherry, Pappa Roach, SIXX A.M. and Trapt.. Now some of these attendance issues could be that either no one want to see this show of gas prices are effecting even concert goers. The second suggestion is obvious but there is also the fact that maybe tickets were over-priced as well. Either way…some of them were sold out or within a 1000 from capacity and other were barely half capacity.
Date: July 24, 2008 Artist/Event: 97.1 The Eagle’s BFD: MÖTLEY CRÜE, BUCKCHERRY, PAPA …read more
