Staind, Shinedown, Chevelle And Halestorm are teaming up this summer to bring you the “Stimulate This” Tour. Halestorm just released their self titled, debut record on Atlantic records. Halestorm will also be out with Trapt, Red and Inept Except as well as a few other bands, before the Stimulate This tour. Staind’s Aaron Lewis kicked off his solo tour last Friday evening in Henderson, Nevada. He’ll being solo touring until January 15th and then again with Staind from January 18th through February 10th for a Europe/UK tour. He then does his solo thing again for a couple more weeks back in the states. I’d be interested to see a solo show. Multi-platinum hard rock quartet STAIND has added more dates to their upcoming tour with special guests Seether, Papa Roach, and on select dates, Red. The tour begins October 4th at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Fans can go to www.Staind.com for ticket information.

I’ve been meaning to check this out but I haven’t. Why? Because I’m one of those casual Staind Fans. I’m not a big enough fan to go run out and buy their CD whenever it comes out. Unfortunately I’m not tight with their PR or label so I haven’t had a chance to check out a review/promo copy of The Illusion Of Progress. However I have heard some good things about it and I like the single, Believe.

Staind’s Aaron Lewis was recently interviewed by ‘Possum Of Altitude’. Lewis talk about how the fans never want to hear the obscure song, they always want to hear the hits. Um…no shit, Aaron. They are the ones paying for the tickets and cd’s. Don’t you think it’s only fair to play the songs people want to hear? I’d be pretty pissed off if I went to a concert and the band played every song I didn’t want to hear. The Illusion Of Progress is set to release on Atlantic Records on August 19th.

Hinder, who’s 2nd album is to be released on November 4th, are already seeing success with their new single “Use Me” According to Reuters. It has debuted at number 34 on the Billboard Charts on the mainstream rock charts. “Use Me” will be available digitally tomorrow, July 22nd.
Extreme Behavior, the bands first release from 2005 has sold almost 3 million since it’s debut and will most likely go triple platinum. Hinder are set to headline the Jagermeister tour in October and are currently touring with Staind and 3 Doors Down for another two months.
