Winner Of "The Dirt" Contest Is…
November 1, 2008 by Scott
The winner of the Motley Crue autobiography “The Dirt” is “S“, with her story of shutting of an ex’s utilities on a Friday.
“haven’t you ever called the new girlfriend and warned the girl of the guys bad things…or subscribed to a million magazines in his name, and shut off all his utilities during the day saying we are moving- and he comes home on a friday no water, no power to the place- haha and if he wants it hooked up on the weekend its extra!”
That’s really messed up and your an evil, evil woman. I’ll be contacting you shortly to retrieve your address.
I would like to offer an honorable mention to Miss X who wrote this. It was a great story and I could visualize him going crazy trying to find the source of the noise.
“True dirt: my first boyfriend was a car-crazy a-hole who broke my heart. With the help of my little brother, I pried a rear hubcap off the a-hole’s vintage Mustang in the middle of the night and put a couple of nuts and bolts inside before putting it back. I heard he practically tore the car apart looking for the rattle!”
To those that entered and didn’t win, your story was either not quite “Dirt” enough or you just didn’t read the rules to the contest. Sorry, maybe next time.

Give Me Your Dirt Contest: Win Motley Crue’s "The Dirt" Autobiography
October 9, 2008 by Scott
I’ve been given the opportunity to give away a copy of the Motley Crue Autobiography “The Dirt“. Here is how the book is described from Amazon.com:
The most influential, enduring, and iconic metal band of the 1980’s reveals everything a tell-all of epic proportions.
This unbelievable autobiography explores the rebellious lives of four of the most influential icons in American rock history.
Motley Crue was the voice of a barely pubescent Generation X, the anointed high priests of backward-masking pentagram rock, pioneers of Hollywood glam, and the creators of MTV’s first “power ballad.” Their sex lives claimed celebrities from Heather Locklear to Pamela Anderson to Donna D’Errico. Their scuffles involved everyone from Axl Rose to 2LiveCrew. Their hobbies have included collecting automatic weapons, cultivating long arrest records, pushing the envelope of conceivable drug abuse, and dreaming up backstage antics that would make Ozzy Osbourne blanch with modesty.
Provocatively written and brilliantly designed, this book includes over 100 photos, many never before published, for the most exciting and insightful look ever into the Crue.
So how do you enter for a chance to win this book?
