The Foo Fighters issued a statment early yesterday about John McCain’s use of the song “My Hero” and their discontent for his use of it. This isn’t the first time that this has become an issue. I heard about something similar to this awhile back and my wife and I got into it about it. My argument wasn’t so much that the politician was using it without permission but that some artists don’t want themselves or songs associated with politicians and they have the right to ask them…or TELL them not to use it.
