In my opinion PUNK IS DEAD! True punk. It never evolved but took a huge back burner to the new wave of British Heavy Metal and Glam Rock. It faded out and when it started back up it was bands that could actually play their instruments with precision. The vocals were still rough, but had a bit of melody about them. Motörhead North America And Europe Tour Dates | Release Motorizer On August 26th

Perhaps this is something that I should post over at Metal Martyr, but I have always thought of Motorhead as more of a hard rock band ( I know a lot of people would argue that, but even Lemmy says that Motorhead are more or less a rock band) and I try to keep things as Metal as possible over at MetalMartyr.com.

Daily Dose 7/16 Guns N Roses Cover The Misfits “Attitude”

The Mifits have been one of my favorite bands since the mid 90’s when a friend of mine introduced me to them. I didn’t really get into them until I saw them live with Michael Graves singing in 1996 and then from there it snow-balled into almost an obsession. Buying up anything and everything I could find that had to do with The Misfits. Personally I like the old Misfits, but Graves did a good job on American Psycho and this facade that Jerry Only is putting on these days falls short.
