But it's not quite the same I'm all about tough love, but you have top state it in a positive way. A person that needs help, most of the time knows they need help. People sometimes need to be jolted out of bad habits, and tact/niceness won't do that. If someone falls asleep at the wheel of a car and starts drifting off the road toward a tree, you wouldn't gently prod them awake--you would yell "HEY!". It's the same thing with obesity.
